The present conditions of sale are concluded on the one hand :
- Hereinafter referred to as L'atelier d'Akinra the content of the website www.atelierakinra.fr and the facebook L'atelier d'Akinra' - L'atelier d'Akinra - whose registered office is located 94 lieu dit du Rouge Malin-LAPOUTROIE (68650), and registered under the SIRET number: 53181797100025, hereinafter referred to as "L'atelier d'Akinra",
- And on the other hand, by any individual or legal entity wishing to make a purchase from the L'atelier d'Akinra websites, hereinafter referred to as "the buyer"
The present conditions of sale aim to define the contractual relationship between L'atelier d'Akinra and the buyer and the conditions applicable to all purchases made via the www.atelierakinra.fr merchant site, the L'atelier d'Akinra facebook page and by e-mail, whether the buyer is a professional or a private individual.
The acquisition of a good or service through one of these channels implies unreserved acceptance of these conditions of sale. The purchaser therefore declares that he/she has read and understood them at the time of placing his/her order.
L'atelier d'Akinra reserves the right to modify these conditions at any time and without prior notice. However, these modifications will only be applicable to orders placed after their publication online. These conditions of sale shall prevail over any other general or specific conditions not approved by L'atelier d'Akinra.

Products
The vast majority of items offered on the site, or manufactured following an e-mail order, are handcrafted creations made to order according to the buyer's specifications. Each piece is therefore made-to-measure and personalized. The exceptions are items offered directly on social networks, legendary artifacts and products not made by the workshop, but complementary to our products: feathers, vials, bottles, buckles, etc.
Rates
Prices displayed on the L'atelier d'Akinra websites are in euros and include all taxes. They do not include delivery charges, which are invoiced in addition and indicated when the order is finalized. L'atelier d'Akinra reserves the right to modify its prices at any time, notably due to variations in its own suppliers' prices. It is understood, however, that the price appearing in the catalog on the day the order is placed will be the only price applicable to the purchaser.
Orders
L'atelier d'Akinra reserves the right to cancel any order from a buyer with whom there is a previous dispute.
All orders are irrevocable for the buyer, subject to the application of the legal retraction period of 14 working days (Hamon law), as long as manufacturing has not started. At this point, this period does not apply to personalized items, for which you have selected customizations, as they are custom-made for you.
You may also make any other unambiguous statement expressing your wish to withdraw (article L. 121-21-2 of the French Consumer Code). An acknowledgement of receipt will be sent to the buyer as soon as possible (by email or post) to inform him/her of the receipt of his/her withdrawal request. The goods will be reimbursed within 14 days of receipt of the withdrawal form, by the same means of payment used by the purchaser to pay for the order, or by another means of payment with the purchaser's agreement.
If the retraction occurs after receipt of the goods, please refer to our returns policy.
Terms of payment
Payment for purchases is made as soon as the order is finalized. Payments can be made either :
- By bank check: payment valid only for holders of a bank account domiciled in France. Payment details will be sent to you when your order is finalized. In the event of payment by cheque, the cheque must be accompanied by the corresponding order number (provided when the order is validated), so that we can process your shipment as quickly as possible. Order processing will be extended.
- By Paypal - immediate and highly secure electronic payment interface, using your Paypal account. You must have a Paypal account to pay for your purchases. For further information, please visit www.paypal.fr . Valid for all customers, French or foreign.
- By credit card via the Paypal secure system - immediate and highly secure electronic payment interface. Pay with confidence using your credit card thanks to Paypal: no Paypal account creation required. For more information, please visit this page. Valid for all customers, French or foreign.
- By bank transfer: payment details will be sent to you when your order is finalized. Valid for all customers, French or foreign. Order processing time will be extended.
For all other methods of payment (postal order, hand-delivered payment, etc.), please contact us before placing your order to agree payment terms. In the event of non-payment within two weeks of placing the order on the site, the order will be considered null and void and will be automatically cancelled.
Delivery
The standard national shipping method is Colissimo suivi or Lettre suivie (depending on the size and weight of the items shipped), delivered without signature. An additional cost applies in the case of registered mail or delivery against signature.
Additional charges may apply for international shipments (outside metropolitan France). The shipping costs applied on the site do not take into account any customs duties or taxes relating to the country of destination, which remain the responsibility of the buyer.
Shipping costs include packaging, handling and postage. They include a fixed charge of €1 for handling and packaging (cardboard, bubble wrap, foam, etc.) and a variable charge based on the price or weight of the order. We advise you to group your purchases in a single order to reduce costs. L'atelier d'Akinra cannot group two distinct orders placed separately, and shipping fees will apply to each of them.
Packages are dispatched at the customer's own risk. Packages are oversized and protected, and special care is taken to protect fragile objects. However, L'atelier d'Akinra cannot be held responsible for any damage that may occur during transport, once the parcel has been deposited at the post office by L'atelier d'Akinra.
Unless otherwise stipulated, delivery is made to the address indicated by the purchaser at the time of ordering. L'atelier d'Akinra cannot be held responsible for the impossibility of delivering the product to the correct destination in the event of an error by the purchaser in the recipient's details. Any additional costs relating to reshipment - in the event of a returned parcel - shall be borne by the purchaser.
In the event of damage in transit, a claim must be made to the carrier immediately upon receipt of the shipment. In the event of loss of the parcel, no refund or return will be possible if the delivery method chosen was economy. This delivery method offers no guarantee. Tracked delivery allows us to track your parcel while it is in transit. In the event of a problem with delivery, loss or theft, a new parcel will be sent to you if a new manufacture is possible. Please note that no parcel will be returned or refunded if the tracking site indicates that the parcel has been delivered to the addressee. Returns or refunds only apply in the event of a delivery problem, expressly indicated on the tracking site.
Warranty on standard products and services
In the event of non-conformity of a product sold, the latter may be returned to L'atelier d'Akinra, which will take it back, exchange it or refund it according to the agreement reached between L'atelier d'Akinra and the purchaser. The buyer is solely responsible for the choice of products, their conservation and their use. L'atelier d'Akinra cannot be held responsible for damages of any kind, whether material, immaterial or corporal, which may result from improper use of the products sold.
However, in view of the personal and specific nature of the objects for which personalization is requested, no reimbursement can be made for these objects.
L'atelier d'Akinra provides a drop-down menu system to enable the buyer to personalize the items ordered. In the event of error or omission on the part of the purchaser when personalizing the creations, the return of the items, their remanufacturing and reshipment will be at the purchaser's expense. L'atelier d'Akinra cannot be held responsible for such omissions and no refund will be made for this reason.

Responsability
L'Atelier d'Akinra has only a best-efforts obligation for all stages of access to the site, the order process, delivery or subsequent services. L'atelier d'Akinra shall not be held liable for any inconvenience or damage inherent in the use of the Internet, in particular a break in service, external intrusion or the presence of computer viruses, or for any event qualified as force majeure, in accordance with jurisprudence.
Integrity
Should any of the clauses of the present contract be rendered null and void by a change in legislation or regulations or by a court decision, this shall in no way affect the validity of and compliance with the present terms and conditions of sale.
